“The women’s community is the place where the ancient wisdom of woman is remembered and renewed.”
— Monica Sjöö
Give yourself permission to pause and take ownership of your inner leader. It is ancient and deeply normal (yes, normal!) for women to come together and remember who they are in the realm of leadership, and to remember what and how they are here to lead. Within that gathering, it is essential to seek renewed rest, whether for leading our own inner lives or for the ways we show up in the world as a leader for our community.
We look forward to creating sacred space together for you to pause, renew your attention, dream big, redirect, and refill your cup. Because let’s face it, the world needs us.
More and more women are sensing that something is shifting. Perhaps leadership is becoming less about doing and more about the presence we embody. Your presence matters. Your unique gifts matter. The way you show up in the world matters. This weekend is an opportunity to reconnect with your own inner wisdom and remember the unique thread that is yours to bring into the world- even if it is to be more in alignment with your own inner leader.
Join us in a beautiful setting on the banks of Androscoggin River as we gather in sacred community to breathe, move, rest, and remember. Together we’ll journey with a guided Breathwork Journey using conscious, connected breathwork, move in sacred gentle rhythms, be in ceremony, enjoy locally sourced, farm-fresh meals prepared by a private chef, have meaningful conversation, and experience spacious time to simply be.
Paddle the river, soak in the hot tub, rest in the quiet, and reconnect with yourself in the company of other women.
We look forward to creating this sacred space with you. Come as you are and leave feeling nourished, grounded, and renewed, carrying with you the wisdom of what it means to truly show up for yourself and for the world.
There will be a:
A hot tub by the river
Plenty of space to simply BE
Fresh mountain air
An opportunity to share the hard truths of what it means to truly show up as a leader, both inside and out.
Let’s walk the talk and fill our cups. We’re here for you. Space is limited.
Themes:
· Inner and outer leadership
· Catch up with self care
· Focus
· Gather and ground
· Reflect deeply
· Listen inwardly
If you’re leading others or trying to be a good leader to yourself- we often barely have a moment to check-in, let alone sink in deeply. Everyone craves that deep and knowing wisdom, and this time of year of late fall is an opportunity to plan your winter “dream seeds” as you move into the quieter inward rhythm of colder days and nights.
What this retreat includes:
Carve out this time to be with yourself, in nature, with other women, with your journal, in circle- and take a cool dip in the river after steeping in the outdoor hot tub.
Move your body in rhythmic gentle ways with Jamie Worster, create greater spaciousness and clarity with a guided Breathwork Session journey with Tania Zuckerman of Spiraldance Breathwork, and enjoy locally-sourced, farm-fresh foods with private chef, Sophia Palange, Phia’s Maine.
Shared and single rooms available.
Indoor fireplace and woodstove.
Kayaks available for a river paddle.
Large yard with outdoor fire pit.
Gorgeous house on the river.
Small gift.

Sacred Nurturing: Breathwork Journey WORKSHOP
Sacred Nurturing: Breathwork Journey Workshop
with Tania Zuckerman, Spiraldance Breathwork
Sunday, April 12th
1:00-3:00 pm
Greener Postures Yoga, Falmouth
COST- $40
We all know what it means to show up for others and provide nurturance and care for those in our lives. But what if the most radical thing we can do is provide this same attention and presence to ourselves?
Whoever we are, wherever we are, the world can sometimes feel just beyond our ability to “keep up”. This continual fast-paced life along with “over-giving” to others can make us feel we have nothing left to give to ourselves.
Thankfully, our breath offers a calm respite for renewal and strength. Guided in a deepening self-care journey of reclamation and hope- discover how Breathwork can be a catalyst for positive change in your life.
The truth is, when we open up our breathing, we have more energy for ourselves and the people around us. Further, when we breathe deeper, we help to increase our energy, speed up cellular metabolism, improve confidence, and initiate a greater sense of connection with ourselves and the world around us.
Additionally, Breathwork helps promote healing on all levels, as we give ourselves the opportunity to integrate life experiences more somatically.
A supine practice guided with soulful music, Breathwork is not just a physical practice, but a soul practice for the body, mind and heart to help you remember that you are enough and there is enough for you to receive.
Using conscious, circular breathing, this journey-style practice helps us to interrupt stress-response patterns and create more harmonious ways of interacting with others and caring for ourselves.
This workshop, led by Tania Zuckerman, Spiraldance Breathwork begins with a quiet centering practice, followed by a guided conscious breathing exercise for personal attunement and recalibration. After instruction for the longer practice, you will be guided on a 45-minute supine journey using conscious, circular breathing- a therapeutic processing technique for release and opening.
To optimize the work, which is often done laying down, the studio has plenty of blankets to be comfortable. Plan on wearing loose layers and please bring your yoga mat (or the studio has them for rent for $1) and a water bottle if you choose. No phones allowed in the practice space. Space is limited for this workshop.
Skillfully guided and held for you to journey into your own inner landscape and connect deeply to self, we hope you’ll join us for this dynamic and powerful workshop!
